Next to getting into trouble, horses are what Blue Mitchell does best. So here he is again, sore and half-healed, yet willing to ride north in the harsh cold of winter to take the sting out of a good-blooded stock. But the raw-boned cowboy soon finds there's more going on at the Broken S Ranch along the Cimarron than breaking horses.
